It is a pleasure and a privilege to have you in my class this year. I strive to make learning fun and meaningful for all of my students. I want to work with you to make 5th grade a successful and fulfilling experience.
This is my 8th year of teaching. I taught fourth grade for two years at Ridgeview and decided to be a fifth grade teacher and roll up with my students six years ago. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College and I also have my Associates Degree in Sociology from Erie Community College.
I am originally from New York and still call Buffalo "home". My husband and I moved here seven years ago. He is the Library Media Specialist at Skyview Middle School. We just celebrated our seventh year anniversary and we don’t have any children of our own yet. When I am not teaching I like to travel the world, hike, snowshoe and explore the beautiful state of Colorado.
